Literacy At Work Event Gallery

This wonderful event was held in May of 2007 at the Homewood branch of the Carnegie Library with the goal of spreading literacy in all of its forms to the next generation of children.  Special activities were held involving music, poetry, artwork, stories, and reading books to children.  My mother was there to promote her cookbook, 'Regional Cooking From Middle-earth:  Recipies of the Third Age'.  I was there to speak as a Gates Millennium Scholar and to read to children.
