Hello everyone!  I am at last settled into college!  I apologize for the lack of news this past month.  I am sure you are all wondering what happened to the podcast as well.  Well, it is all for the same reason.  College!  I have gotten many emails over the summer asking me where I was going to college, and I am so happy that I can finally tell everyone.  The fortunate winner is.....

The Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia!

The entire college process was a long and sometimes very stressful one.  I applied to 9 different schools, and was accepted into 8 of them.  Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) was my first choice, and I was more than delighted when I was accepted.  For the past 3 weeks, I have been getting settled into my new home in Savannah.  My roommates are great, the professors are wonderful, the classes are engaging, and there are a multitude of various workshops.  The career services here are incredible.  I cannot say enough about how happy I am that I am here, in this beautiful, productive place.

I am also getting ready to go to the Gates Millennium Scholars Leadership Conference in Washington D.C.!  All of the other Gates Scholars will be there in early October, and I am extremely excited.  It should be a tremendous networking opportunity.  I'll get pictures if I can!

I will try to update this site as often as I can, but as the classes here at SCAD are pretty intense, please understand if the updates are not up-to-the-minute.

Also, I will start developing some of the other pages again, mainly the Work and Awards Sections and Photo Galleries.  You will finally be able to see samples of my work!  It will be mainly digital graphic design samples and screencaps from my films.  You will not be disappointed!

This is a new era in my life, and you will start to see different kinds of news here from now on.  Here's to happy endings and bright new beginnings!
